Explore Our Campus
The Springvale Campus is located in the heart of central Springvale and bordered by both residential and commercial areas. The original, red brick schoolhouse represents the strong history of the school and accommodates the administration offices, meeting areas and classrooms. Other areas of the school are represented with refurbished classrooms, a brand-new double portable, refurbished hall, synthetic oval, a Multi-Cultural Kitchen Garden and playgrounds that contribute to a learning environment of which the whole community is proud. With grant money obtained recently, the school is in the process of further upgrading the outdoor environment. The school will work in consultation with the School Council, students, parents and community to develop an inclusive outdoor environment, providing space for families to come together.
Predominantly, the families on the Springvale Campus are of Burmese, Rohingya and Vietnamese cultural background, which brings a vibrance to our school and school community. Through our Community Hub, the school has developed strong connections with our families, especially mothers, many of whom actively contribute as volunteers, share their knowledge, and support various community events. This strong partnership between school and home is one of the key elements that distinguish our school, fostering a profound sense of belonging and connectedness among all members.
The Springvale Campus students love being outdoors playing soccer and using the playgrounds. Our various Lunch Clubs provide social, emotional and wellbeing support for students and opportunities to get ‘hands on’ in the garden, be active and make new friends. We facilitate Prayer Club on a Friday to support our Muslim families, the club was activated by student voice and is something that students look forward to and lead every week.
